Rates
Translation
- Up to 5,000 words/document: NZ$0.27/source word
- 5,000 to 25,000 words/document: NZ$0.21/source word
- More than 25,000 words/document: NZ$0.19/source word
Proofreading
Proofreading includes correcting errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, use of capitals, format
(headings, indents, spacing, word breaks etc.). Proofreading does not include rewriting.
Single spaced (minimum 12 point font) $7.00 per page
Editing
Editing includes all the items previously described, plus suggestions regarding consistency of style,
syntax, rephrasing to improve clarity and readability.
Single spaced (minimum 10 point font) $70.00 per hour
(As a rough estimate, the normal output would be 4-5 pages in an hour, but the actual output varies,
depending on the complexity of the content and the degree of correction required.)
Discounts
- 15% for projects over 50 pages
- 50% for pages with text covering less than 50 per cent of page (ex. Media kit)
